My school only allows you to specialize in one or the other. Im relatively decided but curious about what other people prefer and why.

Fiction. I love poetry too, but theres something so engrossing about the elements of telling a story and making a compelling plot. I also think that to some extent, poetry can be incorporated into prose I mean, look at some modern authors, Neil Gaiman comes to mind, and they reeeally have a way with language, some very pretty turns of phrase.

Two fulllength novels. Im currently editing the novels. Im a teen, and yes we are quite capable of finishing things we start. However, there are many teens and adults alike that never finish.

Free thought allows for the mind to open up and for the consciousness to flow. You can try doing it, and make sure not to analyze anything that you are putting down Its a very revealing practice. When I do free write, I touch on the subliminal and the deep meaning that is stored there waiting in the unconsciousness.brbrExamplebrbrFrozen palms, are held out reaching. I would have to agree with you on that. Suffering is a form of pain, and pain is an opposite to a number of alternative feelings as pain, in a sense, is a feeling. If there is no strive toward something, then what would be the point of it? wow, thats deep. I think Id want to know if I was going to have to suffer or if anyone I know and love would ever be in any danger. Dating breakups are an experience that we should all go through, divorce and serious relationships like engagement .. well, I think knowing about that would save a great deal of money, credibility and having children and finances with the wrong person. I think knowing the future could help eliminate unsafe sexual encounters lowering the rate and stats on STDs etc. I guess Im straddling the fence on your question, but its a good one.

However IF you said quotthe THOUGHT of the full moon inspires terror in mequot, then Id buy it. brbrThere are many little places like that. And what it adds up to is really bordering on being a little heavy on the purple prose. brbrMy question is this ... what kind of a person is this in human form? Are they the kind of person who would say quotI spilled onto the forest floorquot? Or are they the kind of person who would say quotI fell down in the woodsquot? BIG difference in the characterization. brbrRemember that in first person narration, you are using words as a part of your characterization. Right now, I dont know what kind of a person this is but they talk rather flowery. Is is a contemporary person? Male or female? brbrWould they say quotI feasted on the sight of it allthe azure framed by treetops, with a shy sun peeking through the gaps in the trees.quot?? Or something simpler?brbrYou have to go one way or the other. And it all depends on your characterization. This characters voice has to reflect who they are. Right now, from what I see, I would guess someone in the th century perhaps England older person. I cant picture a young person speaking like that. But I am not so sure that is who this person is. If this is your first chapter, the characters words have to TELL me that. They are all you have. See??brbrI think you need to do more work on the character study. I can see you like flowing, purple prose, and in its place, it can work. But for the right character. brbrAlso, I think you need more of a transition in the beginning. You begin by describing this person turning human again. Then you go into a description where they say quotI will never be able to describe itquot But you DO describe it. Then it seems we are back to this person unconscious on the ground in the woods with the body of his or her sister beside them. The transitions arent strong if you are going to tuck that section in the middle about how it feels to be a lycan. Perhaps you want to reverse it. Begin with The full moon ... give the description kind of like a mini prologue and go from there then you can hook the entire changing process together. Try it that way and see if it works. But if you intend to frame the chapter with that description in the middle, your transitions need to be stronger. PaxC

My reasons are right here with me. My reasons laugh, smile, and say they love me every single day. My reasons, think Im a hero, just because I take care of them. brSo, I am Wiccan, so, sure, I believe in many different Gods and Goddesses. I dont believe that how you live here on earth is going to somehow determine what happens when you die. Im a year old mom. I loved the books, but I want to tell you something about the books st off. Yes, the books are way over rated! And when the movie Twilight was soon to out in theraters, Stephanie told Oprha, that the books are ALL based off of her dreams! I find that to be complete BS! brbrHeres why I say that... Once you read the books Im almost done with the rd book now, And then you watch all kinds of vampire moives, esp the called Blood amp Chocolate about a human falling in love with a werewolf that is basically whats going on in the Twilight sagas. brbrSo many things happen in the last movie I mentioned, that ALSO happend in the books. Funny, the Blood amp Chocolate movie came out BEFORE ! brbrI personally after seeing that movie, got very pissed off becuase I now feel that Stephanie scammed her fans! brbrWhen you write a story, do your own research, do your OWN STORY!
